Speaker Guidelines

  • Speakers are encouraged to arrive at the venue at least an hour before their presentation is due to start. You will be given the opportunity to go through your slides in the break prior to your speech.
  • Oral sessions allow authors to present papers for discussion detailing their presentation for 20 minutes, with 5 minutes allocated for questionnaires.
  • Speakers are strongly encouraged to dress in business formals during presentations.
  • The conference secretariat will provide a letter of invitation upon request. This letter is to facilitate the participant's travel and visa arrangements only.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been presented elsewhere (except in the form of a thesis) and are not currently under consideration by another conference. The submitting speaker should ensure that the abstract publication has been approved by all other co-authors.
  • The abstracts must be submitted in the English language (including title, abstract text, author names, and affiliations).
  • Presenting author’s contact details including full mailing address, office phone number, email address, and contact number.
  • Name(s) of presenting author and co-authors: first name(s) or initials of first name(s), family name.
  • Affiliation details of all authors: Department, institution/hospital, city, state (if relevant), country.
  • The presenting author of an abstract must register for the GMCRT 2023.
  • An abstract must be submitted online or can be e–mailed to the program manager.
  • You will receive a confirmation when the abstract has been received. Please contact the program manager if you did not receive confirmation within 3 working days.
  • You can submit your work in any broad themes (or) other topics related to Oncology Research and therapy.
  • All the abstracts must be submitted before the deadlines provided.

Peer-Review Process

  • All submitted abstracts will go through a peer review process carried out by a peer review committee. After a successful review of your abstract, we will guide you further steps towards your presence at our event.

Oral Presentation Format

  • Technicians will assist you in pre-loading your presentation to the networked system either by their presentation in a USB flash drive/external device or authors can present using their own devices.
  • Prepare notes that highlight the salient points of your talk. Make sure your slides are readable, concise & uncluttered.
  • The letters on your slides are BIG ENOUGH. The suggested minimum font is 14 for presentation on widescreen 16:9 or 4:3 format.
  • LCD projectors, Screens, Laser pointers, and Microphones are provided.
  • Basic AV setup would be provided; slider with pointer, cordless mike, desktop mike, lapel, and basic sound system.
  • Please stop when signaled by the Chair to do so.
  • Speakers who have video clips in their presentation should check the compatibility with the computer projection equipment.

Poster Presentation Format

  • Posters should be portrait (vertical) orientation, ISO paper size A0: (841 mm wide x 1189 mm high) or (33.11 inches wide × 46.81 inches high).
  • Material should be displayed in logical sequence (with names of authors and affiliations), Introduction/Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Acknowledgements.
  • Each poster must include text in a large enough font (~20-point font) to be read easily by attendees from a distance of 4 to 5 feet or more. Lettering on illustrations should be large and legible. Photographs should be a minimum of 5 x 7 inches.
  • You are responsible for transporting your poster to the conference and setting it up. There are no printing facilities onsite. Posters are affixed with pushpins to the poster board. You are encouraged to bring a small supply of pushpins, as the conference staff sometimes runs out of them.
  • Avoid overcrowding figures and cramming too many numbers into tables. Legends and titles should accompany all figures, tables, photographs, etc. in order to allow their immediate identification.
  • Authors are responsible for mounting their posters and removing them after the session ends.
