Dr. Martina Canton graduated in Human Health Biology (University of Padova, Italy) in 2021, after an internship in the Experimental Pharmacology Group at the Pediatric Research Institute Città della Speranza. She is currently enrolled in the PhD program organized by the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, University of Padua, focusing on High-Throughput drug Screening on patient-derived brain tumor cells, both on 2D and 3D cultures, to unveil metabolic vulnerabilities, and drug profiling on patient-derived samples for a personalized medicine approach. Moreover, in 2022 she spent a period at the Veneto Institute of Oncology IOV – IRCCS, where she worked on cytogenetic diagnostic of hematological diseases.
