Prof. Magdalena Strus is employed at the Department of Microbiology of CMUJ. In 2000, she obtained her Ph.D., in 2017, she obtained the title of professor and is currently the head of the Department of Microbiology CMUJ. Research activities are based on several issues related to disorders of the human intestinal microbiota (including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and acute pancreatitis). Prof. Magdalena Strus has been dealing with the isolation and characterization of probiotic bacteria used to rebuild normal vaginal flora for years (she has conducted numerous clinical trials and has patents and implementations).
