Dr. Oana Gabriela Trifanescu has been a medical oncologist since 2006. She is an active ESMO member and an ESMO Certificate Medical Oncologist by European Examination (Milano 2010 and Recertification 2015 and 2020).
Since 2023 she has been an Associated Professor at "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest, Oncology Department. Since 2016 she has been a Consultant at "Alexandru Trestioreanu" Bucharest Institute of Oncology.
Dr. Oana has a PhD in Oncology, June 2018 with Magna cum Laudae regarding The role of vascular endothelial growth factor and reactive oxygen species in ovarian cancer and therapeutic implications in patients with negative prognostic factors.
Dr. Oana is the author or the co-author of more than 50 papers and a sub-investigator in 16 clinical trials. Her special interest is in breast and gynecological cancer treatment.
